About Jeff
Jeff Ludlow is a percussionist, educator, and composer based in Washington State. He is currently pursuing degrees in Music Education and Percussion Performance at Central Washington University, where he serves as the principal percussionist for the Wind Ensemble and performs with the Symphony Orchestra. Jeff is also a seated member of the Mid-Columbia Symphony and has performed with Sempre Percussion through the Yakima Symphony Orchestra. His marching experience includes IMPACT Percussion, Columbians Drum & Bugle Corps, Eruption Indoor, and Seismic Sound Drumline.
As an educator, Jeff teaches with the Columbians Drum & Bugle Corps and the CWU Drumline. He has worked with numerous high school programs, including West Valley (Yakima), Davis, Bonney Lake, and Lincoln High Schools, and currently serves as a guest clinician for the High Plains Percussion Academy, a summer program focused on increasing access to high-level instruction in underserved communities.
Jeff is also an active arranger and composer. He has written for the Columbians and Boise Gems Drum & Bugle Corps, the CWU Marching Band, and several high schools across Washington State. His writing emphasizes musicality, ensemble clarity, and educational value, tailored to each ensemble’s needs.
